Hello all,

I recently build myself a new PC and figured whenever I go to watch someone's stream on Twitch and want to play other things my PC starts to really lagg/drop FPS ingame, aswell as chrome etc when opening other tabs or moving it around you can see the frames lagging.

Examples on some games:

World of Warcraft, is going to start dropping alot when another stream is open. Or if setting are simply already set on Ultra >below 60 FPS. no stream open.

CS:GO show around 200 to 250 FPS Ingame does not even feel like beign 60 FPS. Sometimes you clearly notice the frames are lagging.

If I am streaming my self, (This not even where I acutely play the game yet). All windows are insanely laggy.

Everything is upto-date. Main point of my concern is that the Brand PNY doesn't really have good reviews, which could hold back my pc on his limit? I have no idea. That's why I am seeking for help.

Specs:

i7 4770k - 4.0Ghz ( tried to go back to stock aswell )
PNY GTX 770 - 2GB
MSI z97 g43 - Gaming edition
CPU Cooler; Coolermaster V8 GTS
1x OCZ Vertex 4 120gb SSD
1x Samsung 250gb SSD
1x 2 TB Samsung HDD
16GB Ram Veng 1600Mhz

Im confused why you went with the i7 unless you planned on streaming? you could of got the 780 for games, which is even better, and have a look at your usages for all cpu ram and gpu, could be one of those, and look at your cpu temps

i had a similar problem and had to disable some things in my modem. Ping blocking and disabling DDos attack blocking helped alot. Did a few other things too i forget what so dont want to guess. How is your 3dmark test, good fps and all? If so suspect your modem setting as the culprit

In comparison to other similiar builds i get 6.9k while others around 8k same specs. My internet is around 140mbit.

I get around and further below 30fps with 3dmark firestrike.

Graphic test 1 : 36-42fps
Graphic test 2 : 24-31fps
Phycics : 32fps
Combined test : 13-19fps

the 8k guys are probably running on OC to the max builds. Your internet speed is fine, i suspect it is simply a modem setting somewhere or maybe a BIOS setting preventing load distribution, something maddeningly simple that will require seemingly endless tinkering.
