Hi everyone, I recently started having the issue when I turn my pc on it just boots to a black screen after the windows logo. However, when I remove my graphics card and run off the igfx I can boot fine. Is there something I need to enable in the bios? I changed pcie to the primary graphics, and it still does this.
My specs are in my sig and I am running windows 8.1 64 bit.
With the igfx I have installed the newest drivers, run avg complete pc scan, and malware bytes complete scan. There was nothing found for either of them.
The pc was running fine until one day arma 2 dayz started up on my fourth monitor (3X1 eyefinity + 1 on igfx) so I restarted my pc and this happened.
On the black screen I can sometimes move my mouse, but other than that nothing works.
If anyone has any ideas how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Well, you can try this....

In safe mode, go to start->run, type in msconfig, and the system configuration window will come up.

First, try clicking on startup and say disable all, then say apply. Try restarting your computer and loading it normally, and see if it lets you get anywhere. If it does, you can go back into msconfig and start enabling startup items again until you find the one that is messing you up.

If that didn't work, try going back into msconfig, keep all the startup items disabled, and click on the services tab. check the box saying hide all microsoft services, then click on disable all, and hit apply. Try restarting into Windows normally again, if it works, then again, you have to figure out which service/startup...

If that didn't work either, then you may have a graphics card issue. Where does it stop when you try to load Windows normally
