Budget? How much you can or are willing to spend will make a huge difference, so budget is something we really need to know.

3 things needed for your answer ....

1. What card you have .... (HD4800)
2. How much ya wanna spend
3. Wattage available.

The easy answer is if ya got $350 and 500 watts, the GTX 970 stands out .... looking at the reviews ... MSI ~ Gigabyte > Asus > EVGA

Minimum graphic system requirements for the game state a Geforce GTX460/Radeon HD5850. Current graphic cards that would perform better in the game would include at a minimum, Geforce GTX760 (or better) or a Radeon R9-270 (or better).

New GTX760s start right around $200 shipped. New R9-270s start around the $150 range (both US dollars/purchased). If you don't have that much to spend, start saving and consider this a lesson learned. Just because you want to play a game, does not mean you can. You should always check the system requirements and make sure your system meets or exceeds those requirements before you purchase the game.

Your power supply is of sufficient power and of good quality (Corsair HX series). The problem is your current graphics card does not meet the minimum system requirements of the game and needs to be replaced in order to play the game with reasonable frame rates.

Today's equivalent of the 670 would be between the 760 and 770. 760 is 92% as fast as the 670 and 770 is 12% faster than the 670

Today's equivalent of the 7970 would be between the 285 and 280x. 285 is 97% as fast as the 7970 and 280x is 6% faster than the 7970

Assuming Canadian points of sale, I'd say any of the top nine on this list would be worthwhile upgrades.

With $300 to spend, any of the top four on that list (the Radeon R9-280X being the best) would work. I don't know how Canadian taxes work so I don't know if the $300 budget can be stretched to include the taxes for that card.

That site is a bit expensive .... for the same price (after MIR) as the 280x, Id take the faster 770 .... but if ya can't wait the 3 days ..... I agree with wolf on the 285x
