How to determine memory drive OS installs to on first boot?

Solution

Ah, OK.
To ensure you install to the proper drive, have only that drive installed during the process. Reduces the chance of screwing things up.
Just disconnect the data cables of the other drives, boot and install.

depends on exactly what drives you have. If you have a SSD and an HDD, OS and applications on the SSD
If you have a WD Blue, and a WD Green...OS and applications on the WD Blue.

What do you have? What OS are you installing?

I wouldn't touch the bios until you've got the OS up and running (maybe not even then). As said, just leave your SSD plugged in and you can't go wrong.
