Hello,

I am currently in need of a new monitor and a friend has been raving about the qnix monitor. Problem is he had the money to buy a nice (expensive), high end graphics card to go along with the monitor. I am not really tech savvy and have been trying to research and make sense of compatibility issues regarding the monitor and my graphics card. To start of with a basic question, the seller(s) state I need (no exceptions?) a DVI-D dual link port to use the monitor. My card has a DVI-I dual link port. Will I still be able to use the monitor? This leads into the second question. The answer with the ports was unclear but I have read some say that using a DVI-I port is possible but it reduces frame rate? And I have also read the the card itself isn't good enough to utilize the full potential of the monitor. I'm embarrassed to say it, but it was all very confusing to me honestly. I guess to sum it up in one question, can the monitor be used with my graphics card?

Thank you.

Yup works totally fine with the DVI-I port.

Ive got that qnix and works just fine from either the DVI-D or DVI-I.

Dual link isnt the same as "DVI-D". DVI-D just means it only carries the digital signal, where as DVI-I carries both Digital and Analogue.
