Hi
Whats the best motherboard in the list below to go with the Intel Core i5-4690K CPU? It will be used mainly for gaming, to run memory of 2133mhz+ and possible overclocking.
Any other motherboard suggestions would also be great..
Budget £100 to £110

Asus Z97-K Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
ASRock Mod 1150 Z97 Extreme4 ATX Motherboard
MSI Z97I Gaming AC Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard
Gigabyte Z97-HD3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard

Realistically, all the manufacturers listed are of decent reputation, and the motherboards should perform very close to the same. I would pay attention to warranty and features (do some have more USB ports or wifi or firewire etc... if that matters to you).

Being as you are asking for bias I will give you mine = I always buy Gigabyte motherboards, and have never had one fail for the last 10 years of building my own PCs. Well built and reliable, never had any motivation to change and test another brand I may or may not like as much.

Like i was very pleased with maximus vii hero, that has an ability to update bios by himself. So features like this one is great to have. My first asus board, so not sure if all asus boards goes with feature like this.

Not sure what you are mean, but BIOS updates have been available for a really long time - but should only be performed if there is a problem, as a last resort. You should NEVER update BIOS from windows, period. It's risky, and if it fails, you can make your motherboard useless. Most good motherboards (such as the 120$ Gigabyte Z77 I own) has 2 BIOS built-in... So if one fails you have a backup.

Regardless I would NEVER use software to update the BIOS.. It should be flashed from bootup only.

i did mean EZ Update in asus suite 3, it search for newest update, downloads it, then reboots and start to update bios. Durin that it restarts like 4 times and stays on a blank black screen whole period of update. So not sure why need to use usb stick, if asus offers bios update with they own made software. But thats an huge offtopis already :)
