Hi guys,

Is there any vendor that sell extension cables for PCI-E 16x? I would like to relocate the graphic card for space reasons, so I need basically a ribbon that plug in the PCI-E 16X slot and has a connector for my video card.

Got plenty of space on the bottom of my case, so why don't take advantage of it?

Found this, but I am not sure that it is what I need:

It is utterly big and complex; I just need a cable, not the whole enchilada that comes with it .

This one seems to be appropriate for what I need; is that safe?

I just don't want to burn 400 dollars of video card and motherboard, because of a cable, so if you have any suggestion, please feel free to send them in my way :)

Your links point toward the same thing.
Generally, using an extender should be fine, but I don't really know the bandwidth of USB, so I would get something like this:

It's only 4 bucks, and it has excellent reviews.

Thanks guys; got a cheap cable form amazon :)

The other device seems to be the same; altho it has also power on a different channel, for some reason (I assume to put it in some external box probably). Will let you know how it goes, once I get it ;)
