Alright so i just recently bought a graphics card to replace the horrible one i currently have and just waiting for it to arrive. This is new one im getting: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (I was running on $100 Budget. Not a dime more. Got it from ebay 90 bucks :) )

And this is the one i have right now:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I dont really anything about graphics cards and all the internal stuff in the computer, so try not to use these acronyms and all the other techy-wiz talk. I looked up a little bit about the graphics card and the term "Bottleneck". Im a little afraid i might have this issue. Here are my basic computer specs:

AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core Processor(3.80GHz)

4gb installed RAM

Windows 8.1
64bit operating system

Generic PnP Monitor

And 1 terabyte of hard drive space.

I want to be a little prepared for the upcoming high graphic MMOs coming out early 2015.
So based off of what i listed here can you guys just answer a few questions here and shed some light?

    Will this bottleneck?

How big of a difference between the GeFroce GT 610 and Radeon R9 270?

How high of graphics will i be able to play games with High Graphics like battlefield and Tera etc.. if you know what i mean.

I hope i got my point across. Thanks!:p

It depends on the game. Some games are more CPU than GPU intensive and that's where you will start seeing a bottleneck. Bottleneck simply means your CPU isn't faster enough to feed data to your graphics card quickly enough. Your CPU will hold you back quite a bit on Battlefield 4 since it's a pretty heavy task for the FX-4300.
To answer your GT 610 vs R9 270, there is a HUGE difference in performance there. The R9 270 will absolutely destroys the GT 610 as it isn't even designed for gaming. You may also want to check if your power supply has enough juice for the R9 270.

In very CPU intensive games like the poster above noted, it'll hold that card back.

Side note, be careful with buying cards second hand. I know people that have been burned hard that way. But then you have posters like mojojojo who quite actively make second hand purchases from ebay and come out on top. I myself dabble, but usually on craigslist where I can meet in person and put the squeeze on people with little to no hardware knowledge. Or mock people selling cards from mining rigs. It's a hobby
