I'm stumped here guys, and I could really use a little help.

I'm assembling a new system for my sister-in-law and I've hit a snag.

Here are the specs:

MSI A88XM Gaming FM2+
AMD Athalon X4 860k
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X
WD Blue 1TB
HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR3
Rosewill Stallion RD600 600W PS

The build went well and the hardware powers up with no error codes. However, the monitor receives no signal from the GPU. I've tried plugging in to each of the ports on the card, but had no luck.

I reseated the power connectors (both mainboard connectors as well as both 6 pin connectors on the GPU), reseated the GPU itself, as well as the memory and the CPU. No luck.

I'm sure the GPU is working, because I moved it into my own system and it works with no issues. I also moved my GPU (dont remember the exact spec, but it's an older NVidia card) from my system and tried it in the new system. I've tried both PCIe slots. No luck.

I'm out of ideas. I'm beginning to wonder if the Mobo arrived DOA.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Possible that the BIOS thats on the mobo now doesnt support the CPU thats on it. Since you need BIOS 1.1 to support that CPU

Athlon X4 Kaveri AD860KXBI44JA 860K 100 3.7 4M N/A A1 95 N/A 7903v11.zip

What if you remove that card and use onboard does it work?
