1 partition not showing in My Computer

I have an external hard drive partitioned into 4 drives (F,H,J,K - I know drive letters not sequential - due possibly in part to 2 DVD drives & Alcohol, etc...).

I would post images showing how My Computer shows; C, H, J, K (plus DVD Roms, etc...)
& Disk Manager shows C, F, H, J, K (plus all others) but I don't seem to see that option anywhere.

I have checked permissions & everything else I can think of. Every partition has the exact same settings/permissions.

Why is just the one partition not showing up?

Is the partition empty? If it is, then you may need to go into folder options and uncheck "hide empty drives". Might work, might not. If not we can try further options. You may also need to format the partition in disk manager before it is visible in my computer. Just because the disk space is allocated to a partition does not mean the partition has been formatted for use. It's really just a starting place but if it shows up in Disk manager it should be visible in My Computer or Windows Explorer.

There are indeed files on the partition, and until recently the partition was visible in My Computer. Also, when I right click the partition & select 'open' it opens the partition & I can see the files & browse through them - but on the left-hand side of the screen the drive letter is still not showing under My Computer.

I have even tried changing the Drive letter (twice) and restarting the computer, still to no avail.

Here is the My Computer image showing what drive letters are showing:

And Disk Manager:

Has this drive ever been used with a Mac? Have you tried reassigning a new drive letter to see if it would allow it by right clicking on the partition in disk management? Try that and see if it will let you do it or if it only shows "help" as a right click option for that partition.

I'd also run Seatools for windows on the entire drive to check for errors or bad sectors. Sometimes if there is a problem with a particular area of a drive the partition for that part of the drive may be damaged. Run the short DST and long generic in Seatools. If it passes both we can try further diagnosis.

It's probably ok since it shows healthy in disk management but we need to check the basics first. Skipping this step can bite you in the as--symmetric later.

Well couldn't install Seatools for some reason (kept aborting on step 1). But decided to once again rename all the drive letters, eliminating F entirely & now all partitions are showing. Not sure why, but for some reason as long as I was using F as a drive letter it wouldn't show all drives.
