So I've overclocked my CPU to 3.978GHz (Turbo) and it turned out to be pretty stable after doing several stress tests.
Max temperature that I came across was about 60-62C on all cores and core voltage was at about 1.275.

Can anyone shed light on how I should go about overclocking this CPU and what voltage/clock is me pushing too far?

Coolant: Hydro Series™ H60

The general consensus is that 80 C or above and 1.3 V or above is bad for Haswell chips.

@Alpha4042,

The general problem that I face is that the voltage proportionally increases when I overclock. Is there a way to disable the automatic voltage control?
and is 1.2V too close to 1.3?

No. Anything up to 1.3 VCore is considered fine. You can disable auto voltage by manually setting it in the BIOS.

What voltage would suffice for 4GHz?

You'll have to test that out yourself, as every chip is different. 1.28 V should be fine though.
