Hi all, So I have 2 gtx 780s sli and both cards are working perfectly but not the sli? 1st off here is my mobo so you have an idea http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

the middle graphics card slot will not run a card alone but both cards work on the slot nearest the processor. I am new to sli and don't know if the middle slot is even supposed to be able to run a single card or not but with both cards plugged in and running(with sli bridge) the sli option will not come up and the 2nd card is not identified to be hooked up. Do I need to uninstal my drivers and reinstall them to both cards simultaniously or is it that my mobo is not working correctly? Hoping not, but if so I can always replace it(trying to avoid)

Any help would be great! Hoping its something simple im missing.

1) You can use the 2nd pciex16, but the GPU will be at x8 speed.
2) Try install the gtx780 into the 2nd slot to see the gpu run fine or not.
3) Using the Guru3D - Driver Sweeper to clean the driver in safe mode, then install the gpu driver and intel chipset driver too, because the intel chipset driver has the pice controller.

4) What PSU do you have ? Do you plug in all the pcie power connectors? you need at least 800w psu with 2X6pin and 2x8pin for sli gtx780 http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_780_sl...

Neither card will run in the second slot. Does that mean my second slot isnt working?

Usually means the slot could be DOA.
