Hi all, So I have 2 gtx 780s sli and both cards are working perfectly but not the sli? 1st off here is my mobo so you have an idea http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

the middle graphics card slot will not run a card alone but both cards work on the slot nearest the processor. I am new to sli and don't know if the middle slot is even supposed to be able to run a single card or not but with both cards plugged in and running(with sli bridge) the sli option will not come up and the 2nd card is not identified to be hooked up. Do I need to uninstal my drivers and reinstall them to both cards simultaniously or is it that my mobo is not working correctly? Hoping not, but if so I can always replace it(trying to avoid)

Any help would be great! Hoping its something simple im missing.

Basic checks here

Did you

1. Hook up the SLI Bridge

2. Enable SLI in nvidia control panel

3. What is your power supply?

Sli bridge hooked up yes but no option to enable sli in my nvidia control panel. Now my first card has been in a month before this second one so idk if anything with the drivers would matter.

Power supply is 750W OCS ZT series

when you installed the second GPU did you uninstall the driver before you put the second card in you have to uninstall all GPU drivers then put the second GPU in the install GPU drivers and the second card will show up

I believe that may be the case since I have not done that yet, does it have to be done in safe mode when unistalling the
drivers or no?

No you can uninstall the drivers without safe mode that's what I do but ether way it won't hurt anything
