Hey guys,

I have a Scandisk Cruzer that I ended up formatting for something a while back and I recently found it. I'm on a mac and when I right click and "get info" it says that it is a MS-DOS (FAT16) Format with a capacity of 51.2 MB I think i used it for a BIOS boot at onepoint for my PC. How do I reset this to complete factory settings so I can use it as originally intended? Thank you.

To format a partition, you have to use Disk Utility. Follow these steps:

1. Open Disk Utility (it's in Utilities folder, inside Applications folder) and choose your USB drive on the sidebar.

2. Go to Erase tab, choose the format you want next to "Format", and then, press Erase button. Your USB drive will be formatted.
