I want to run a 3 monitor gaming setup. I currently have a gigabyte 7870 should i buy another 7870 and crossfire it or should i upgrade to a different card. Running on i5 3570k, gigabyte z77 ud3h, 8 gbs ram, and 700w cooler master extreme plus.

Upgrade your card to a new one.
Its simpler than running dual cards, you will likely get better performance if your buying at the top end and getting a 7870/50 is going to be somewhat of a hassle given its an old card.

If your looking for the peak of the price/performance graph, typically its around the $250-300 point.

Though if your looking to power a triple 1080p setup, I would be looking at something like a GTX980 or R9 290X.
