Hello guys,

I need your help!!!

I don't know what to do I was after to but 144hz benq monitor which is now on a huge discount in NZ.

Currently it is even cheaper than vg248qe - 570$ NZD and BenQ XL2420Z $500 NZD

Where on newegg same monitors cost: vg248qe - $279.99 USD and BenQ XL2420Z - $349.99 USD.

Also I have just found that BenQ XL2420G is coming with G-sync and I don't know what to do should I wait for it or buy BenQ XL2420Z or Vg248qe?

Is G-sync is a life changing feature?

I am playing in CS and Planetside2 most of the time...

What would you do in my case?

I was thinking about the same thing lately, and given G-sync or Freesync is one of the biggest upcoming feature in monitor technology in the past years, i would wait. It'll probably cost a little more but it may worth both the wait and the money.

I know this thread is old, but it really depends on your budget. I just upgraded from a 60hz monitor to a XL2420Z. I chose the Z over the G because of the $250 price difference. I couldnt justify spending $550-$600 on a monitor.
