Hey guys, I just upgraded my AMD 7870 to a GTX 980 and I saw some difference in certain games Middle earth shadow of mordor for example, but I didnt see a huge difference in ARMA 2 OA or CoD Ghosts. I did a heaven benchmark and the score came out lower then the scores I saw on the internet.
GTX 980:
FPS: 62.6
Score: 1577
Min FPS: 26.4
Max FPS: 127.7

In arma and CoD the GPU was being used for about 50-60% and the cpu max 20%
What can I do? I got the latest driver.

there might be a bottleneck..or might have heating or power problems...too much heat in the case and low power might be the reasons
cheers

I am using a DVI-D dual link cable to connect my DVI-D monitor to DVI-I GPU.

i think that there might be some problem with the cable as you are converting dvi-i into dvi-d..this might lead to some lags or poor score...since your gpu is not that behind than average score of gtx 980..i think this lag might be the reason....your pc seems to be well pimped out for the gpu...also try running everything at stock rates if you have overclocked them....

this is why I don't jump on fresh new release things .. I like to see how they are after a few months of what real end users show [opinion]
