Hoping someone can help/give some recommendations for upgrading my graphics card. I have a hp1300z desktop with a 300 watt power supply, 6GB RAM, and AMD i6 core processor 3.4Ghz. I currently have a Nvidia GT630 2GB DDR3 graphics card installed in my desktop, but would like to upgrade to a better one, if possible. Can anyone give me some recommendations? I'd like to be able to play some more games with it. Currently, I'm able to play Skyrim on High Settings. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

only difference is I have 6GB and the Nvidia GT630 currently installed on mine. Doesn't look like the HP site has one available anymore. If you would prefer I just post specs instead of posting the link, let me know. I appreciate any input given.

Infact, get the 750ti. It is way more power efficient My bad

It's at $120 after rebate.

Cards that matches your pc's specs is a GTX 750ti, which is a card that is very similar and comparable to the R7 260x. there is about a 5% difference either way depending on what game your playing. I didn't exactly know your budget.

this one will run modern games with your current build around 40-60 fps medium to high if you tweak the settings a bit. If this card is too expensive then you'd need a better wattage PSU. This card is as good as it gets for your PSU and for the price

It says "Up to 150w". A lot of cards go up to 150w when under a major load, i'm sure those are recommended for oc, which Asus is known for their oc abilities. If he doesn't plan on oc or trowing his computer under heavy loads constantly then he should be fine ^_^

My version is different : Asus overclocked it a lot and that s why added PCI-E connector .
