Hello everyone, I'm new here and before this one I've been solving all of my problems with the help of redditors, however neither they nor I could figure this out so...

About 3 months ago I built my first PC, played all of my games absolutely fine, I managed to complete Tomb Raider on max settings without so much as a stutter. About a month ago my computer began to crash whilst playing basically any game, including even League of Legends.

I looked through the event log to find a few things, firstly the nvlddmkm error, which I am not entirely sure how to fix, and this seems to be the cause of all my problems. Secondly the Kernel-Power, I believe this is due to me turning my computer off after the crash. I have tried leaving the computer on, but nothing changes.

Here are the specs if needed:

Intel Core i5-4690
Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
8Gb (2 x 4Gb) DDR3 1866MHz RAM (Kingston)
Gainward GTX 770
Corsair 230T Graphite Series
Corsair CX650M
Seagate 2Tb Barracuda
Sandisk Ultra 128Gb SSD

Please help me, I have recently bought Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and would like to play it upon release.. you know, along with all of my other games. Anyway, thank you in advance.

EDIT: I have found a fix, I lowered my GPU's clock speed and I had no crashes since then. I don't quite understand why but I'm happy as I can now play all my games without my computer crashing...

This began as just larger games occasionally crashing, however after recently downloading Watch_Dogs the error has seemed to appear elsewhere also. I believe I may have found a solution by slightly lowering clock speeds, however I am not yet sure of the effectiveness of this.
