Hi,

I have recently bought a H105 closed loop water cooler for my system, the temps have been great so far but it seems to have a strange buzzing noise coming from the pump.

I have found a video of the exact same noise I am getting, I have looked around and some people believe it could be air bubbles or the pump running at low power, I have checked and it seems the pump is running at full speed/power all the time.

Video - http:// (Not my video)

I thought it best to ask here myself before taking any further action, any help or information on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have the same problem. Someone says the problem is air in radiator, someone say the problems is voltage for pump. I still have this problem like u. I know how u feel. Btw my temps on i7 4790k in prime95 is : IDLE 26-28c but LOAD temps goes up to 88c

Yeah I have heard it could be air bubbles or something similar, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I was over looking. Hopefully there is a fix though as it can get quite annoying as you know.

Those temps on prime do seem quite high for that cpu on a h105, are you running it overclocked or stock?

Spoke to corsair directly, turns out that sound is highly likely to be air bubbles. Way to fix it is to ensure the radiator is mounted above the pump (which mine is), can sometimes just take time to settle in I was told, but I will also try remounting the h105, might just need to be moved about a bit to get the water flowing properly.

They did offer me a replacement though so if your problem persists I suggest you contact them directly as well for a new unit.
