thank you! So i suppose there's no meaning to install a high perform SSD as SanDisk xtrme pro or Samsung mex or evo?! Which would be a proper choise for this mule-speed ancient SATA- I ?!
Yep, not the best performance with high speed SSDs as it caps the transfer at 150MB/s, a high performance HDD, will however be no better as most laptops support only 2.5" drives and any 2.5" HDD will be slower than any SSD, so a cheap SSD will still be better. SATA ports (and connectors) are backwards compatible.
