I recently built a gamer pc and i am still buying the rest of my components later. For now, i am using some of the parts from my other pc with my new parts and running:

Gigabyte GA-990fxa-u3d <--new
Amd 8320e 3.2 ghz (4.0 turbo) <--new
WD 2TB <---new
G.skill ripjaw 8gb 1333
Asus HD 5450 silent 1gb
egva supernova platinum 1000w <---new
LG internal cd drive

Everything is powered and working but no display to my monitor. plus my front panel led is not working and my reset button isn't working when i hold it down for more than ten seconds.

my brother say it could be the bios needed an update if that the problem. how can you do that without shipping the mobo to the company.

You need a CPU which'd work on that MoBo w/o updates, like FX 6 or 8 (not the E), then power up the system, and flash the latest BIOS, that's the only way.
