The title really says it all; but i want to know how to overclock an AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor on a Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard. I have an Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Case and will be getting and Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for when i do the overclock so if any one wants to recommend fan placement for optimal cooling ect. I have Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1866 Mhz just in-case this info is needed. Big thanks to any on that can help me out.

i would not suggest even trying to overclock on that motherboards it may support it it those vrm's will probably blow up if you push them, its not ment for overclocking fx series cpu's that are huge power hogs, granted you could get something like 3,8-4,0ghz on it, but i wouldnt try it again the vrm's even if they would hold can blow up from the load, or the will simply throttle your cpu making the overclock pointless, for good overclocking you want a motherboard with at least 6+2 phase vrm design
