I prefer sapphire Trix or Vapor Trix coolers over XFX personally but the XFX should be ok.

What are you looking for. For quiet and cooling, sapphire Trix is better. If you looking for some LEDS, XFX got a white logo on it when turned on.
Performance wise, they both similar because it is the same gpu chip, just a different cooler.

i saw some reviews and people were saying the xfx is running in upper 70's and the sapphire tri-x is running in upper 80's:/

Overclocked R9 290 Trix probably will go to 80C on the default fan profile, you can customize that fan profile to be more aggressive for more noise.
R9 290 Trix is clocked higher so it performs a bit faster but it is a tiny amount.
