Yes there's every chance of compatiblity issues, no disputes, but manufacturers use different IC and chips, SPD can be different, so most likely won't work out.

I can't garuantee compatibility even with same model same brands, let alone different companies. You can pick 10 sticks from the factory line and test them to run with each other and find out only 4 works fine with others.
