DoI need advanced cooling for this CPU?

Hi, I have an AMD FX-6350 6-core processor, and was wondering if I needed more than the stock cooling for it. I do not plan on overclocking it any times soon.

Thanks!

You should be fine,if everything goes correctly.i.e mounting.Depending on,where you live (temperature) I would judge this purchase, and if I were you I would purchase a new cooler, since I will be assured about cooling;to be honest that stock cooler that AMD packs along with CPU,won't harm, but its just not a good cooler, compared with aftermarket ones!

Yes, u will need a CPU cooler to ensure that CPU tem. remains low
U should wait before installing one. After some time technology changes new cases cooler arrives.
So, u should consider at the time of installation and OC

Need - no.

You might want to get an aftermarket cooler to make the system quieter, keep the CPU cooler (extends lifespan of the CPU), or combination of the two. But those are wants, not needs.

You can get a small overclock out of a stock cooler - but this is not recommended as the stock coolers often struggle at high heat loads at stock CPU speeds.

Personally I would recommend getting one of the coolermaster hyper 212+ line of coolers (great performance for $20-30) as it will be quieter, run the CPU cooler, and will allow you moderate overclocks in the future if you want to.
