Hi everyone

My current specs as follows:

CPU: i4770K@3.8GHz
MB: Asus Maximus VI Formula
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3-1333MHz 16GB
GPU: Inno3D i-chill GTX780
Cooler: Corsair H80i
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster S27B970D (2560x1440)
SSD: Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
PSU: Cooler Master V850

I wish to upgrate to a X99-based system, with the following specs:

CPU: i75930K, to run at stock speed
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws 4 16GB DDR4 3000 MHz
Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3
GPU: Asus GTX980 Strix x 2

The rest I will remain unchanged for now (I think the PSU should be able to handle these new specs). My questions is therefore: which motherboard should I get? The ASUS X99 Deluxe or other brands? The reviews for the MSI and Gigabyte X99 boards are generally quite good.

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

If your not going to overclock then any motherboard would be a good choice. IMOP 300$ would be a nice sweet spot; you get on board wifi and usually realtek 1150 audio or better. Make sure you get a review of the motherboard, since some (including the UP4, msi m-power, ect. had issues at launch). You can't go wrong buying a motherboard right now since most of the kinks have been worked out.
