man your power supply is killing out the gpu..get at least 700 or 650 Watts..rest of your system seems to be qualifying for the gpu

Check if proper power is supplied to both
1.GPU
2.HDD
Though you should be fine with that PSU. for GTX 780?(which model is that PSU)
a.How many power supply pins.(6-pin,8-pin) connectors are there for your GTX 780?
b.How many 6 or 8pin 12V rails are provided by your PSU.
c.If you happen to connect the power to GPU through a 4-pin molex adapter which came with GPU box or something. That maybe it.If you have used the Molex power connector to a sata power supply branch, please report to US..

Moving from AMD to Nvidia (or the other way around), it is important to properly remove the old software and drivers (Catalyst Control Center).
A good quality 550W power supply would be enough for your system, but your Thermaltake supply is not likely up to the task.
Any of these would be good:
Any XFX 650W supply
Rosewill Capstone 650
Antec HCG 620

Anything from tiers 1 and 2 of this list, rated at least 40A on the +12V rail (generally 550W and above):

I don't think the solution to your case, isn't power consumption of GTX 780,might something to do with HDD etc. What is the gaming performance?
IS it like a GTX 780,or any anomalies related to driver!

The safe things would be to reinstall the nvidia driver.Either it would some driver issues, malware or HDD fragmentation.
