Okay, so I booted my computer this morning, and I get a CPU fan is at 0 rpm error. I check, and my CPU fan is actually at 0 rpm. Could anyone tell me why this might happen? I wasn't doing anything with the fans in between booting it yesterday and shutting it down. Neither did I hit it hard enough for something to break.
So far, all I've done is looked at the bios, which has n/a for CPU, chassis 2, and power fan speed (chassis 1 is 920 rpm). If I look into my computer, I can see that the fan attached to the heatsink is indeed not moving. I thought it might be stuck, so I opened the case and gave it a little poke. Obviously, that didn't help, or I wouldn't be here. I've also tried enabling CPU q fan control, with no results. Any help?
