Hey all,

Unfortunately 2 of my 3 GTX 580s have died and I have decided its time to upgrade, so i have purchased 2 980s. As you could imagine I'm very excited.

The screens i have are the Acer GD245HQs 120Hz 3D screens, and currently i have a DVI cable going from each GPU to a screen, 1 gpu per screen.

Connectivity:

(3x)Acer GD245HQ: 1 VGA, 1 DVI, 1 HDMI

(3x)GTX 580: 2x DVI + 1 Mini HDMI

(2x)GTX 980: 1 DVI, 3x Displayport, 1 HDMI

I can connect 2 of the screens through DVI but my concern is:

Will i come across and loss if i go through HDMI to the 3rd screen?
Will i still be able to use the 3D feature over all monitors?
Would reaching 120hz over HDMI be a problem/possible?

Ideally i would love to have a DP port on my screens and do it that way, maybe when i upgrade to a 4K monitor.

If there is anything i have missed id love to hear it.

Thanks in advance
