will a 1tb hard disk run on a celeron d 3.06ghz

hi guys i got a old system lying around it has a 512mb ddr1 ram and intel d915glvg mobo i was wondering whether a 1 tb hard disk would run on it??

Shouldn't be a problem. I would seriously consider finding additional RAM for that system though. That's a very small amount and would stifle the system to the point where it probably isn't even worth attempting. I mean, it will work, the absolute minimum is only 64MB of RAM, but it's probably going to be slow as hell and experience pretty drastic lags with modern hardware.
