that's tough since they are pretty much equal:

Here's the advantages and disadvantages:

ASUS Z97-A:
Pros,
1. Excellent intel Ethernet compared to the cheaper killer nicks
2. Cheaper
Cons,
1. It isn't a fully designed gaming motherboard (if that even matters)

MSI Z97-GAMING 5
Pros,
1. A gaming motherboard
2. Three PCIE 3.0 slots
3. Lot better audio
Cons,

1. More expensive

I personally would get the asus z97 A if your only doing 2 way sli, so unless you need good audio that's the board to get.
