I have recently been able to upgrade a wireless adapter to a standard Ethernet connection but when I tried I found out that I don't have the correct drivers. After some time researching the only downloads I could find are not on the manufacturers website so I do not want to download them.
If any of you can help me to find the correct URL for the official drivers it could be appreciated.
Mobo: Asus P8B75-V
Ethernet Adapter: Realtek® 8111E , 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)

I assumed it was in a separate download as I got the drivers for the mobo from there in the first place. So why would I not have them now?

I don't know why. Did you download the LAN driver from the site in the link? Did you select the correct OS? The same driver should have come on the motherboard's utility/driver DVD.
