Hi all,

I just wanted to know if this is a good gaming computer. Will it be able to run games at max settings and will it last for a long time.

Thanks.

Ditch that i7, get an i5 and replace PSU with an corsair rm

Get a 2 X 4gb set of memory not just a single stick. Duel channel memory slots means 2 sticks for the best performance.
Corsair RM series are over priced, look for a EVGA G2, XFX, Seasonic, or Rosewill Capstone.

The 980 is a lot more expensive than the 970 and only offers about a 10% performance boost.
As stated above, get dual-channel 8 GB (2x4 GB) RAM
Every Corsair PSU whose model starts with a C uses bad caps, the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 b2 would be much better.

Otherwise, the build is good to go!
