It happened again. I started PC, did something, then wanted to play games and again Pagefile overload. Then i restarted, went in bios to check the RAM voltages and speed and they were good so i went back and it worked. IDK why it keeps happening.

You say your pagefile is maxing? like your actual RAM, or your virtual pagefile. Your pagefile is different than what your actual RAM is using ( i think you know this). Now, if your actual RAM is maxing, like in Windows Task Manager's graphs, that's a whole bigger issue.

If it is your pagefile, go into your pagefile settings (under Performance Options in the advanced tab, windows search it)
Check what it is set to, may just be that what windows set it up as is wrong.
Tell me what yours was set to.
Mine is system managed, and it is 8192, which is normal
If you for some reason don't have one set, check System managed size and see if that improves.
If you have more than one drive, uncheck the top box "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives", and select one drive from the list (preferably your boot drive), and use the System Managed Size, make sure other drives are set to None/No page file
That can cause issues if you have multiple drives. People run multiple pagefiles, but I find it only causes issues for me.

If it is still maxing, then look into a custom pagefile. I can help you from there.

Mine is also 8192 but it goes up to 8400. Also maybe the problem is that i use single RAM stick or maybe because my External drive was connected and i was downloading games from it.

Hmm. I think for some reason having that external was messing with window's Automatic pagefile with multiple drives.
Single RAM stick shouldn't be the issue, that is fine, and shouldn't cause something like this I don't think.

Was it only being slow when you had the second drive downloading games? I be windows was allocating pagefile memory to your external drive while downloading games, but it also tried to pagefile your drive running the game as well.

Try unhooking your External drive, and run all games on the drive in your PC and see if it ever shows back up. if it seems to have gone away, there's a great chance that that is the issue. I would only game on the PC when that external HDD is unplugged. Might have to also restart your PC to force Windows to rethink its pagefile.

Best bet is turn off "automatically managae all drives", just pagefile your boot drive, and choose system managed on it. That way if you plug in the external drive, it won't mess with your pagefile.

To be honest IDK. I have external drive that i copy the games from to my storage drive. Maybe i have lots of Pagefile usage after installing something. Because i would make sense. I download games, then they dont work. Then i restart my PC and its better. Not really sure what to do bout it.

If you just force windows to pagefile your main drive, it should work. TBH, your external drive needs 0 pagefile, windows just does it anyways, and it is goofing everything up.

I bet once you manually let just your boot drive to system managed and stop windows from auto-page filing everything will be fine.
I only pagefile my boot drive, and I have an SSD and an HDD, and games installed on both run, even though only the boot drive is pagefiled. multiple pagefiles are usually a bad idea, especially with an external drive.

That or copy all your games over now, so you can just take the external drive out of the equation entirely

What i did now is i removed my external(as i dont use it unless i need) and changed my Game HDD with recommended as minimum pagefile and double that as maximum. I cant change the boot drive since its controlled by system.

Hmm, alright, see how it works. If anything is unstable or windows crashes, tweak your pagefile some

I might be replacing my current Crucial with Corsair because:
-It will be Dual Channel just like my MoBo allows
-Its compatable according to MSI website

IDK why but the more stuff i do and more games i play the Pagefile usage justs builds up. Like when i restarted PC my idle Pagefile usage was 3000MB and now it is 5000MB also idle with the same programms.
