My processor is a phenom ii x4 965 (140w version) i have it overclocked to 3.7 ghz, the nb is at 2400. THe voltage for the processor is set at 1.425v and for the NB 1.25 v. Cooling the cpu I have the cooler master hyper 212 evo, and 6 case fans no including the two on the cpu heatsink and the cpu sometimes runs as hot as 60c. What am i doing wrong???

Maybe it's your thermal paste.

When was the last time you applied it?

And that CPU fan is not strong engouh to handle the overclock of an old phenom.

You should get a new cooler such as a liquid one from my experiences. It will work like a freezer if you do so. ;)

probably up to $110. im guessing its going to have to be a single closed loop solution.

If your case supports a 240mm radiator it will, If it doesnt go get a h80i which will fit in for sure.

Liquid with radiator will not go below ambient temp unless some type of refrigeration is built into the system.

Wait since when does 60C on an OCed CPU mean hot?
