Hai there,I am planning to buy a GTX 660 and my current PC is i5 3470 ,12GB kingstone Ram (One normal 4GB ram and the other is HyperX 8GB) , H61s2p as my motherboard , 1TB HDD and BlueDigit Power supply 500w model: BPS2112
I want to know if i can run this pc with the current power supply or i will have problems, Count the GTX660oc in my PC ,I heard it can go very bad if the Power supply is not good enough and may burn the motherboard and affects other parts
#Help =)

look at the 12v rail info on the power supply. you want the wattage and amp rating for it. you want to take the wattage of the cpu and gpu and add them together. if it close to the max on the 12v leg then replace the unit for safety. the unit you have is a low quality unit and i dont expect it to output what it labeled for before popping. look into a evga 60b or the 750 line of power supplys.

With a unit named Blue Digit it probably should be replaced with a better know manufacturer.
