Hi there
I recently bought all the parts for a new pc. After assembling them all the pc failed to boot/post/beep or display anything on the screen, all fans spin however . I read the stickies and the build has been looked over several times by knowledgeable friends. Psu was most likely so tried that no luck... Thought mobo was next most likely so replaced that (at some expense) still no joy. Tried swapping out ram and gpu, no luck.. Am I right in thinking that I have been incredibly unlucky and my cpu was dead out the box? Have inspected, no physical damage to cpu ie. Bent pins or signs of heat damage... Please help!

Solution
If it is then try this... Disconnect everything except for the ram and cpu from your motherboard... Eliminating things that could forever reason prevent a successful POST next make sure all the 24 pin power connector and the supplementary cpu power is connected to motherboard. Also make sure that RAM is in the motherboard locked in. And try a startup...

If this does not work you might be looking at a faulty RAM. you are still having problems try removing all sticks except for one and moving them around. If you can try putting you CPU in a friends computer (with a compatible motherboard) to make sure it is working.) if it works it is either the RAM or PSU. Let me know if all this helps
