Yeah, I'm pretty sure it does. It downsamples from at most 4x the detected native resolution of the panel, and I've seen people using it for those kinda resolutions. Running it well, maybe that's a different story.

but mind you
forget about DSRing to 8k the fps that a single 980 delivers at 4k fps is just over acceptable
youre looking at quite a FPS dip with DSR
