Well, It would seem that my most-beloved R9 290X video card has sustained some minor, minor, MINOR damage via my failed overclocking attempts. The damage shows in the form of tiny and uncommon visual artifacts in the game Watch Dogs. My question is, should I just continue playing the games I love, and not expect things to get any worse, OR, should I just hold off on the high-end stuff until the much-hyped R9 390X hits shelves? Chances are I'll be snagging that bad boy as soon as it comes out, but I want to know if playing high-end games now will make the suspected damage any worse. Please try to respond rather quickly, because I have a REAL hankering to drive around and enjoy virtual Chicago right about now!

If it's only happens in Watch Dogs, are you sure the 290X itself is actually damaged. If other games are fine, it could easily be driver related. What happens in Furmark, ect? What are your temps like? Either way, it should be in warranty still. Unless you were overvolting for extended times, I doubt they would reject an RMA if one was needed.

Well, I've seen hints of it in other games, but if it stays how it is now, I'll be fine until the new one comes out. About RMA'ing, I've had the card for almost a year, and it's pretty much a re-sell from CyberPowerPC, who has basically impossible RMA specifications.
