well if youre looking for an actual gaming monitor
it will break the bank
youre looking t to major features
1) a high refresh rate i.e 120/144 Hz
2) low response time 1ms grey to grey

i would suggest the BenQ XL 2411Z gaming monitor
im using one and its awesome
its got 1ms response time 144Hz refresh rate
24 inches 1080p
and comes packed with loads of features like motion blur reduction and black equalizer

You clearly have a bias towards super expensive Ben-Q panels. Any monitor that has a refresh rate of 60Hz or up, a 1080p screen, and a 5ms or lower response time is considered a gaming monitor. While the panel you have is nice, it is only for the best of the best and the OP said it shouldn't break the bank. Don't recommend monitors you know he can't afford.

If you don't understand the difference between 120/144Hz and 60Hz, you are not looking for a gaming monitor.

What games do you play and what graphics card do you have? If you don't know what card you have, you are definitely not looking for a gaming monitor.

My system will be i7 4790k with a Nvidia gtx 980 4gb overclocked to 4.3GHz. I am looking to play all the games at highest textures and for my system to runs future games at the highest setting which i think my system can do

The monitor you have suggested seems to be very good. The monitor that comes with my pre-built machine ive never heard of the brand

The system will only cost me about £1200.00 to £1300 without the monitor so looking for a better one. I dont know how to build a pc and work wont give me the time to learn so paying a little extra for a pro to do it and overclock it will help me out. I also get the warranty.

well he said a gaming monitor
so i suggested one
he never mentioned a budget
anyways
if you have a graphics card that can do more than 60fps
then you should go for a 120/144Hz monitor
otherwise the money spent on your PC will be a waste if youre restricting your PC to 60FPS with a 60Hz monitor
could you tell us what your other specs are?
only then can we help pich the right monitor for you

haha
it seems like a joke now
if youre looking to get only 1080p then 1ms 144Hz is a must with your build( the one i suggested -BenQ XL 2411Z would be perfect for you)
if you go with a 60Hz it would be like buying a Ferarri and trying to run it on kerosene
heel you build can run not only at 1080p but also 1440p and 4K monitor at good frame rates
if youre willing to take the leap
i can also suggest 1440p or 4K monitors

What is your actual budget, we don't know what break the bank means to you as you could be a rich person an breaking the bank is going over a billion pounds. Therefore, I gave you the cheapest monitor I know that is classified as gaming.
