So I'm building a computer for a family member and wanted help with what I should get for parts. It's mostly for casual use a long with some facebook games. All she has right now is an old hp and its starting to go. Budget I would say is about ~ $550 less would obviously be great. Any help is appreciated. Going to keep it mid tower as well. Might be easier to buy an OEM system for their uses and budget, especially if you need to buy the OS. If not, an AMD APU with 8GB of RAM would be enough. If you can add a SSD, they'll swear it's the fastest thing ever.

Windows adds another $90 , but you could easily drop the cpu cooler and use the stock item .
