Yeah that's all compatible, in fact it looks awesome! Although I suggest getting a more powerful Power Supply, perhaps an 800W one. This is so that if you consider getting SLI GTX 970's in the future, then you can. It also removes any risk of coil whine under high work load. Apart from that, every else looks excellent!

I added a 650 watt Rosewill power supply made by the best SUPER FLOWER.

It works but you could shave hundreds of $ off the cost if this build is for gaming

@rolli59 - That is true that it your suggestion is cheaper, but if I were you AndyBo2, I would want to heavily ensure my rig is future proofed. You don't want to build an awesome PC, then find that 1 year later when you want to upgrade, you have to buy a new PSU. Buy a high power one now, and you won't have to buy another one for years and years. Especially since you have the newest i7, newest chip-set motherboard - pretty much everything about your build is future-proof except the PSU. Just think about it:)

Have a nice day!

800 watt is overkill and the OP didn't mention Dual cards.

Rolli's XFX is great for a single card setup.

With all due respect, I understand they didn't mention dual cards, but they may wish to in the future. Especially with the GTX 970 being so cheap and so powerful, they are one of the best candidates for SLI! That's my plan anyway, and is the same for many people. I built my PC last year but didn't get a graphics card, I just waiting for the next Nvidia card, made sure that I had enough power for 2 of them (predicted wattage use) and enough space in my case. A year later, I can do that because I thought ahead. If you're smart, you'll do the same. :)

800 watts only needed for a dual cards and unless OP is planning to would be total waste of money in a rig that barely reaches 400watts on load.

Original selection of PSU from OP points to single card use. Not everybody wants to or needs to do a dual card setup and certainly since OP has a single 1080P monitor he does not need to with a GTX970 which handles that resolution great!

I know, that's kinda why explained the importance of future proofing. He/she may not know about power usage. He/she may not have considered the idea of SLI. That's why I *suggested* it, so that they can *consider* it, as it is quite appealing. They may not want to know, but for not much more money, you can give yourself some leverage to work with if you do change your mind in a years time.

I could have just answered the question straight up, which in some aspects I did. But I thought I might as well inform him that he may want to future-proof. You understand?
