So as the title says I am looking for a cheap 120hz or 144hz monitor, somewhere around £100-120 max, size is not an issue, although around 20" would be great, it will need to be 1920x1080.

Thanks

This is a regular (no 120Hz) 1080p gaming monitor. This is a great option for a gaming buid:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Monitor: BenQ GL2460HM 60Hz 24.0" Monitor (£119.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £119.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

imho you will have a hard time finding a 120Hz one.

Does HDMI support 144hz? Also Does it have DP?

No, it doesn't. It's a 60 Hz monitor. Not sure why you got this as a suggestion. I presume it's because there is just no way to find a new 120 or 144 Hz monitor for that price. You will have to look for a second hand one if you are happy buying an used monitor.

Exactly. I suggested a good 60 Hz (regular) monitor. As i said, OP will have a hard time finding a 120Hz monitor for his budget.

I cannot recomend him to buy a used monitor. He should buy a new one.

A 60hz monitor should do fine anyways.
