So I'm trying to get into my computers bios, and of course I need my keyboard for that to press the delete key. Problem is the keyboard doesn't work when the computer boots so I'm unable to access it. Any help?

Connect the keyboard to USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0 port.

What's your motherboard, certain motherboards have buttons on them to access the bios. Try plugging in another keyboard and see if it works.

Try looking on the motherboard for a button to push.

You should try resetting your bios, since there's a setting that doesn't enable keyboard use till post bios, that would fix the issue if that's the problem.

Remove the battery for 3 secs, then reconfigure the settings. Or go into the BIOS set default settings.

People should learn how to read a manual !

i know that you have to take the battery out but that is not easily possible on my motherboard, the battery is under the gpu because its right next to the pcie slot.

Do you have a usb to ps2 Adapter? or a PS2 keyboard?

Does the keyboard work on another pc?
Stupid MB Manufactures not supporting USB keyboards until after post screens (because you have to turn on the option in bios)

If you have a newer MB you may be able to access the Bios Features in Windows with software from the Manufactures web site
