Your build is reasonable.
For gaming, the graphics card is more important than the cpu.
I might reallocate that budget to a cheaper i5 or i3 and a stronger graphics card.

I like your case pick, but a Silverstone TJ-08E or PS07 is similar at a lower price.

I agree, the CPU is too powerful for the GPU.
You can get one of the stronger i3s and put the saved money into a better GPU.
