Hello dear TH friends!
I'm new here, and my first post is about the combination of my R9 290 (XFX Double Dissipation model) and my FX 8350.
I'm having big problems in Battlefield 4 (is there who I noticed the problem). I got unstable FPS. I noticed that the GPU usage is very unstable too.
That's it.

I've read all the threads that I found, and no one could really help me. Hope you can.

PC Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8350 | With Corsair H100i
GPU: XFX Double D R9 290
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
PSU: Cougar ATX 1000W 3722-4 CMX
And i'm playing in 1080p (60 Hz).

Sorry for writing fails. I'm brazilian ^^

First, thanks for the reply, Hugger.
Well, I was monitoring the usage with MSI Afterburner and GPU-Z. It goes crazy. In a moment i have 100 fps (example) with 100% of GPU usage, still running near the same place, nothing to downgrade the fps, but when I look for a place full of players or with a lot of constructions the usage goes to 70% or less. It kills my fps, going to 30~45.

Hmm, I had a similar problem when I had a 290 and was using Mantle. Are you using mantle or DX11

Mantle, but it had the same problem with DirectX :/
It looks like a cpu bottleneck for me.

Well you could try overclocking the CPU. But my 8320 at 4.0 Ghz and r9 290 didn't have drops that bad. Not sure what to tell you =/ Maybe someone else will chime in

I hope someone else could help, really.
I've already tried to overclock my cpu, but it doesn't helped more than 5 FPS.
Thank's for trying, Tree Hugger!
