Does the Asus H81M-A require a bios update to work with a haswell refresh processor?

I'm thinking of buying a budget system for a HTPC assembled on PCpartpicker, but it's warning me that the motherboard may require a bios upgrade to work. does it?

Probably does it needs 2001 of the BIOS before it'll support that CPU

And if its not on it, you'll have to either take it to a shop ask them to flash it. Or buy a lower spec CPU then do it

I just switched the motherboard to a Biostar Hi-Fi B85S3+ Ver. 6.x Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard and now it's fine!

In the future, when you cut and paste code from PCPartpicker, make sure to select the bbcode option to generate the code so it will display properly, like this:
