wondering if anyone has any info on setting this up? i currently have pc playing games on a benq monitor via display port with nvidia 3d vision kit, so far i have gone from pc to projector with HDMI cable and the display of none 3d games works fine but when switching game to 3d the projector loses signal? the projector does support up to 144hz and 3d the same as monitor so am wondering what the issue could be as on paper its the same specs just one is projection and the other is a monitor.

due to it being late and not trying it yet, i wondered if i would need to run pc on projector then un install 3d vision and re install it whilst on projector so it detects what i am using? am sure this is what i had to do first time round when setting 3d vision up on monitor. any suggestions would be handy. hopefully its something simple because re installing software each time i switch displays would be a annoying i reckon.

thanks

A couple issues. HDMI won't support 144hz. It might get you to 75hz at 720p, but that won't work for 3D Vision anyways. If that projector is truly 144hz, you'll have a Dual Link DVI-D or Displayport connection on it. That will have to be used, though with the use of 3DTV Play may support 3D at 60hz and 720p over HDMI.

The next issue is that you have to make the projector your primary display to game on it. You can do this by going to Windows "screen resolution" screen and adjust which monitor is the primary one. It might be possible to use HDMI through Nvidia 3DTV play, but I'm not experience with that and it would limit you to 30hz or some sort of compression mode if the projector supports it.
