I have a hp a6228x im trying to fix up for the missus, I upgraded her from her older pc. Did the upgrade in steps, checked to make sure everything works. Ram works good, PSU works good, still booting.. put in the graphics card (( which is confirmed good on another pc)) aaannnddd... nothing. The card starts, the fan spins. No video.. i connect to the onboard and it works fine, but i connect the video cable to the card.. no good. i went into the bios and found a setting for what is the primary video output, tried the options.. nothing. Any ideas?

So! i figured it out.. After beating my head against it for a half hour, i just walked away from it.. i came back.. i swaped the video while it was running, i crashed it, it auto booted working. In my years and years building computers, and in my time owning a computer shop.. this is on the top 10 of weird.
